Engineering Manager, Data Infrastructure

This role is remote in the United States.

Compensation:

$214,500 - $321,800/year

Responsibilities:

• Shape Stripe’s long-term Data Serving strategy.
• Support the engineering team to ensure technical quality and reliability.
• Recruit and develop engineering talent.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to understand their needs.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience managing distributed system infrastructure.
• Proven ability to recruit and build effective teams.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with technologies like Apache Pinot, Apache Trino, and ElasticSearch.
• Strong analytical background and remote team leadership experience.
