Backend Engineer, Core Technology

This role is remote in the United States.

Compensation:

$155,700 - $233,500

What you'll do:

Design, build, test, and ship code for various projects, enhancing customer experience and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Build a great customer experience for internal and external Stripe teams using our infrastructure
• Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization
• Deliver value through collaboration with multiple customers and stakeholders
• Debug production issues across services

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong software engineering skills and a passion for infrastructure
• Experience with programming languages like Go, Java, C/C++
• 2-12+ years of software development experience
• Experience with large scale distributed systems
• Strong collaboration skills
• Customer obsession and ability to thrive in autonomy
