Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Agentic Systems

This role is based in New York.

Compensation:

$281,196 - $401,709/year plus equity

What you'll do:

• Lead the technical architecture of Spotify’s Agent Engine.
• Guide the transition of existing agent-powered features into a unified system.
• Design how internal systems can be exposed as agent capabilities.
• Build and improve evaluation systems for quality and user impact.
• Partner with research and machine learning teams.
• Explore and prototype new approaches to agent-based systems.

Who you are:

• Experience building and scaling production AI systems.
• Comfortable with system design, infrastructure, and machine learning concepts.
• Experience with agent orchestration and LLM infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills across engineering, product, and research teams.
