Senior Site Reliability Engineer

This role is based in New York, NY with flexibility to work from home.

Compensation:

$164,448–$234,926/year plus equity

Responsibilities:

• Own fleet reliability and lead the reliability, security, and scalability strategy for Portal’s SaaS infrastructure.
• Design and evolve infrastructure on GCP and AWS using Terraform.
• Drive operational excellence and evolve incident management practices.
• Operate across a modern web stack (TypeScript, React, Python).
• Mentor engineers on operational thinking and SRE best practices.
• Partner with engineering and product leadership to evolve infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience operating cloud infrastructure (GCP and/or AWS).
• Experience with LLM-based systems and reliability challenges of non-deterministic systems.
• Proficient in at least one modern programming language (TypeScript, Java, Go, or Python).
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
