Senior Fullstack Engineer, Commerce Platform

This role is based in London or Stockholm.

What you'll do:

• Architect and implement scalable backend services and frontend components for Spotify’s commerce platform.
• Design and develop Java and Python services in a high-volume, low-latency environment.
• Build and maintain payment processing functionalities.
• Run experiments to improve payment performance and user experience.
• Enhance system reliability through monitoring and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features.

Who you are:

• Experienced with modern JavaScript development.
• Skilled in building backend services using Java and/or Python.
• Familiar with cloud-native environments like Google Cloud Platform.
• Experienced with scalable databases like PostgreSQL.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
