Data Scientist, Cost Engineering (FinOps)

This role is based in London or Stockholm.

What You'll Do:

• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and carbon reduction.
• Influence Procurement and Technology Infrastructure strategies.
• Manage cloud carbon emissions reporting methodology.
• Collaborate with Engineering to create datasets for carbon and cost intelligence tools.
• Impact Spotify’s sustainability journey.

Who You Are:

• Experienced data scientist with a background in delivering business insights.
• Degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field.
• Strong communicator with data storytelling skills.
• Hands-on experience with cloud cost optimization and emissions reporting.
• Proficient in Python, DBT, BigQuery, SQL, and Tableau.
