This role is based in London or Stockholm with flexibility to work from home.

What you'll do:

  • Build and maintain data pipelines that power analytics, reporting, and machine learning systems
  • Work with BigQuery and GCP to process large-scale datasets
  • Develop batch and real-time data processing using tools like Dataflow and Pub/Sub
  • Implement monitoring and data quality checks to ensure reliability
  • Design data models for downstream consumers across analytics and product teams
  • Contribute to backend services using Java
  • Troubleshoot issues and support system reliability
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product partners

Who you are:

  • You have experience in data engineering or backend development
  • You are comfortable with SQL and working with large datasets
  • You have experience with cloud platforms, ideally GCP
  • You are interested in backend development, particularly Java
  • You understand batch and streaming data concepts
  • You write maintainable, well-tested code
  • You are curious and eager to learn
  • You communicate clearly and work well in teams
