Backend/Data Engineer, Data Platform

This role is based in London with flexibility to work from home.

What you'll do:

• Design, build, and improve the infrastructure for Spotify’s event delivery systems.
• Develop backend services using Java and Apollo, and create data pipelines with tools like Scio and Apache Beam.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

Who you are:

• Experience with backend systems and data pipelines using Java and Scala.
• Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Familiarity with modern data processing frameworks like Apache Beam.
