Machine Learning Engineer

Job Duties: Design and implement the next generation ML based systems that power Reddit. Work closely with product and ML engineers to design and implement scalable interfaces. Collaborate with other engineers to improve the recommendation systems and models that power personalization and discovery. Train, evaluate, and deploy sophisticated machine learning models to improve experiences for millions of users. Participate in the full software development cycle: design, develop, QA, deploy, experiment, analyze and iterate. Collaborate across disciplines and with other ML teams at Reddit to find technical solutions to complex challenges. Full-time telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Recommendation and Ranking System Design and Algorithms; (2) PyTorch and Tensorflow; (3) AWS, S3 and RDS; (4) Scikit-learn; (5) Pandas; (6) Writing production-grade software for large-scale, real-time recommender systems; (7) Machine Learning related tooling and frameworks; (8) Advanced Deep Learning theory and algorithms; (9) Analysis of large-scale datasets; (10) Design and implementation of large-scale A/B tests; (11) Cloud environments (GCP) and relevant tooling (BigQuery); and (12) Microservices architecture. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Full-time telecommuting is an option.
