What you'll do:

  • Design and develop highly scalable, reliable and performant software systems to power content quality and safety infrastructure.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to other engineers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, data science, and other engineering teams.
  • Drive engineering best practices to improve software quality and developer productivity.
  • Contribute to Pinterest's technical culture through code reviews and tech talks.

What we're looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in building large-scale software systems.
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Proven track record of technical leadership.
  • Experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Flink).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
