Compensation:

$164,695—$339,078 USD

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the product roadmap for GenAI safety across Pinterest's AI-powered surfaces.
  • Lead proactive identification of risks and design structured red-teaming exercises.
  • Translate nuanced content guidelines into precise product requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship AI safety solutions.
  • Define and track quantitative safety metrics to ensure AI systems meet safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain AI safety incident runbooks and escalation frameworks.
  • Anticipate safety implications of new AI capabilities and build extensible safety infrastructure.
  • Ensure AI safety approaches account for the needs of a diverse global user base.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of product management experience in GenAI/ML, trust & safety, or responsible AI.
  • Strong fluency in AI/ML concepts and experience with AI ethics frameworks.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical and ethical trade-offs.
  • Deep empathy for users and commitment to making the internet safer.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
