Staff Machine Learning Engineer

This role is based in San Francisco with remote options available.

Compensation:

$189,308—$389,753/year

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of large-scale recommendation and decisioning systems.
• Build ML foundations for a unified context layer and context agent.
• Own recommendation initiatives end-to-end, from problem framing to production deployment.
• Develop evaluation and feedback loops to measure recommendation quality.
• Apply modern ML techniques to business-critical workflows.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar for ML development.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in building and deploying large-scale ML systems.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong end-to-end ML ownership and solid software engineering skills.
• Deep understanding of recommendation system architectures.
• Proven Staff-level technical leadership and excellent cross-functional communication skills.
