Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Content Recommendations

This role is based in Toronto with remote options available.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and define the architecture and roadmap for content understanding and acquisition optimization.
• Train and fine-tune LLMs and NLP models, ensuring production readiness for large-scale inference.
• Establish evaluation metrics and drive operational excellence in model performance and data quality.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in building ML products, including 2+ years in a tech lead role.
• Hands-on experience with NLP/LLM training (PyTorch, Python).
• Strong software engineering skills and experience mentoring engineers.
• Masters or PhD in ML-related studies.
