Staff Data Scientist, Personalization & Shopping

This role is based in New York with remote options available.

Compensation:

$163,064—$335,720/year

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high-quality outputs from recommendation systems to enhance user shopping experiences.
• Develop frameworks to understand recommendation outputs.
• Apply scientific methods to product development challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovations.
• Mentor junior data scientists.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in data analysis.
• Expertise in recommendation systems and causal inference.
• Proficiency in Python/R and SQL/Spark.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field.
