Staff Data Scientist, Personalization & Shopping

This role is based in New York or can be remote, with in-office collaboration required 1-2 times per quarter.

Compensation:

$163,064—$335,720/year

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high-quality outputs from recommendation systems to enhance the shopping experience.
• Develop frameworks to understand recommendation outputs.
• Apply scientific methods to product development and improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation.
• Mentor junior data scientists.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in data analysis and machine learning.
• Strong skills in Python/R and SQL/Spark.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field.
