Responsibilities:

  • Lead company-wide programs that improve developer productivity through AI-assisted coding, validation, code review, and deployment safety.
  • Drive the roadmap and operating model for AI-native engineering practices across Pinterest.
  • Partner with engineering, infrastructure, security, and product teams to standardize best practices for AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Define and operationalize scorecards, metrics, and guardrails across productivity, adoption, quality, reliability, and cost.
  • Navigate ambiguity, align senior stakeholders, and turn emerging opportunities into durable multi-quarter execution plans.
  • Communicate progress, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to senior technical and executive audiences.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience leading large, cross-functional technical programs with company-level impact.
  • Strong technical fluency in developer workflows, engineering systems, platform/tooling, or software infrastructure.
  • Track record driving engineering productivity or transformation programs across multiple organizations.
  • Excellent judgment in balancing speed, quality, safety, and cost.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and executive influence skills.
  • Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools, developer agents, platform adoption, or software delivery transformation is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field or equivalent experience.
