Sr. Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Search

This role is based in San Francisco with remote options available.

Compensation:

$212,964—$438,454 USD

Responsibilities:

• Lead machine learning strategy for search, including indexing, ranking, and personalization.
• Work on LLMs and generative approaches for query recommendations and autocompletions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance the search experience.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in large-scale production search or recommendation systems.
• Expertise in applied machine learning and generative technologies.
• Tech-leadership experience in complex recommendation problems.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
