This role is based in Toronto.

What you'll do:

  • Develop software solutions for reliability and operability of large-scale distributed systems.
  • Build understanding of system behavior to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Automate engineering processes to minimize risk and maximize innovation speed.
  • Manage capacity and performance for scaling infrastructure.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix/BSD internals and experience with open source software.
  • Experience with technologies like ElasticSearch, ZooKeeper, and Kafka.
  • 4+ years of experience with programming languages (Python, Java, Ruby, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
