This role is based in San Francisco with remote options available.
Compensation:
$132,415—$272,619 USD
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive quality for web platform features, spanning UI, APIs, and backend services.
- Design and execute manual test cases and exploratory testing for complex web and API workflows.
- Build and maintain automated test suites for frontend–backend integration and API contract testing.
- Collaborate with engineers during design and code reviews to improve testability.
- Advocate for quality best practices and identify software defects using bug tracking tools.
Requirements:
- Experience in QA / Quality Engineering with a focus on web platforms and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing and building API tests using tools like Postman.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript).
- Strong debugging and analytical skills, with experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
