This role is based in San Francisco with remote options available.

Compensation:

$132,415—$272,619 USD

Responsibilities:

• Own and drive quality for web platform features, spanning UI, APIs, and backend services.
• Design and execute manual test cases and exploratory testing for complex web and API workflows.
• Build and maintain automated test suites for validating frontend–backend integration and API testing.
• Collaborate with engineers during design and implementation to improve testability.
• Advocate for quality best practices and drive issues to resolution.

Requirements:

• Experience in QA / Quality Engineering with a focus on web platforms and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and API testing tools like Postman.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Tech stack:

Web automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress), API testing tools (Postman, REST-assured).
