Sr. Machine Learning Engineer / Economist, Ads Marketplace

This position is based in San Francisco, Palo Alto, or Seattle.

Compensation:

$177,309—$310,291/year

Responsibilities:

• Build statistical models and production systems to improve marketplace design and operations.
• Tune marketplace parameters and optimize ad diversity.
• Define and implement experiments to understand long-term Marketplace effects.
• Drive multi-functional collaboration to enhance marketplace knowledge.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Economics, Statistics or related field.
• 2+ years of industry experience.
• Knowledge in auction theory and econometrics; excellent data analysis skills.
• Strong software engineering and mathematical skills.
• Practical understanding of machine learning algorithms.
