Compensation:

$161,263—$332,012/year

Responsibilities:

  • Prototype new model architectures for Pinterest Canvas, our internal text-to-image generative model.
  • Read research papers and help brainstorm visual generative strategies.
  • Collect relevant visual training data for Pinterest Canvas.
  • Publish and publicize your work via conferences and blog posts.
  • Mentor junior researchers or interns within the Pinterest Labs organization.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of industry computer vision experience.
  • M.S. or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related areas.
  • Experience with generative computer vision models, preferably diffusion models.

Nice to Have:

  • Publications at top ML conferences.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants.
  • Familiarity with LLM-powered productivity tools.
