$245,402—$429,454/year
Responsibilities:
- Lead a cross-platform team responsible for content acquisition, media ingestion, and media signal platform.
- Set the team’s technical direction and drive execution on quality, performance, and reliability.
- Partner closely with Content, Shopping catalog, and GenAI teams to improve Pinterest content ecosystem.
- Guide the team through platform and architectural decisions.
- Build and grow a high-performing team through hiring, coaching, and developing engineers.
- Raise the bar on engineering excellence.
- Help Pinterest meet GenAI compliance requirements.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance engineering practices.
Requirements:
- 9+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of engineering management experience.
- Deep understanding of crawling systems and big data processes.
- Experience with search and recommendation systems.
- Strong communication skills and people-focused leadership.
