Machine Learning Engineer II, LLM Applied Science

This role is based in San Francisco with remote options available.

Compensation:

$138,905—$285,982/year

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to research in LLMs and generative AI applicable to Pinterest.
• Analyze data and translate insights into scalable solutions.
• Develop evaluation strategies for LLM systems.
• Write clean, efficient code and collaborate with engineering teams.

Requirements:

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, ML, NLP, or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong foundation in deep learning for NLP.
• Proficiency in a systems language (Java, C++, Python) or ML framework (Tensorflow, Pytorch).
