Machine Learning Engineer II, Applied Research Science

This role is based in San Francisco with remote work options available.

Compensation:

$138,905—$285,982/year

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to research in machine learning and AI applicable to Pinterest.
• Analyze data and build intelligent models.
• Write clean, efficient code.
• Utilize ML and NLP to solve various modeling problems.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues.

Requirements:

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, ML, NLP, Statistics, or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in a systems language (Java, C++, Python) or ML framework (Tensorflow, Pytorch).
• Experience in research and analytical problem-solving.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to adapt to dynamic environments.
