Engineering Manager II, Machine Learning – User Understanding

This role is based in San Francisco with remote options available.

Compensation:

$189,308—$389,753/year

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of machine learning engineers.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
• Drive experimentation and adoption of user understanding models.
• Manage project execution and stakeholder communication.
• Provide thought leadership in user modeling and recommender systems.

Requirements:

• 6+ years in applied machine learning or related roles.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Demonstrated ML expertise and understanding of large-scale systems.
• Strong technical leadership and system architecture skills.
