Compensation:
$177,185—$364,795 USD
Responsibilities:
- Define the direction of Pinterest's agent platform and build critical components such as agent serving, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Partner with internal product and engineering teams on agent tech stack needs.
- Lead the team's technical direction and roadmap for key infrastructure investments.
- Hire, mentor, and grow engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Utilize AI to enhance team execution and system design.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience leading engineering teams with a strong background in Python.
- 7+ years of experience in designing and operating scalable backend systems.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong technical leadership and people management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
