Engineering Manager, Developer Agents

This role is based in San Francisco with remote work options available.

Compensation:

$177,185—$364,795/year

Responsibilities:

• Define the direction of Pinterest's agent platform and build critical components such as agent serving, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Partner with internal teams to shape the future vision for the agent platform.
• Lead the team's technical direction and roadmap for key infrastructure investments.
• Hire, mentor, and grow engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Use AI to accelerate team execution and ensure quality.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience leading engineering teams, with a strong background in Python.
• 7+ years of experience in designing and operating scalable backend systems.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure on AWS and containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
