Engineering Manager, Agent Foundations

This role is based in San Francisco with remote work options available.

Compensation:

$177,185—$364,795/year

Responsibilities:

• Define the direction of Pinterest's agent platform and build critical components.
• Partner with internal teams on agent tech stack needs.
• Lead the team's technical direction and roadmap.
• Hire, mentor, and grow engineers.
• Use AI to enhance team execution and system design.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience leading engineering teams, strong hands-on background in Python.
• 7+ years of experience in scalable backend systems.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong technical leadership and people management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
