This role is based in Seattle, WA with a hybrid work model.

Compensation:

$293K - $325K/year

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and manage data pipelines for user event data integration.
  • Develop datasets to track product metrics like user growth and engagement.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand data needs and provide solutions.
  • Implement robust systems for data ingestion and processing.
  • Participate in data architecture and engineering decisions.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with standards.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years as a data engineer and 8+ years in software engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience with distributed processing technologies (Hadoop, Flink).
  • Expertise with ETL schedulers (Airflow, Dagster).
  • Solid understanding of Spark.
