Product Manager, Cyber Safety

This position is based in San Francisco, CA, with relocation assistance available.

Compensation:

$293K – $325K + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

• Drive initiatives to ensure safe deployment of OpenAI’s frontier models.
• Collaborate with research, engineering, and policy teams to embed safety in AI development.
• Develop frameworks for understanding and mitigating deployment safety risks.
• Create methodologies for evaluating and improving safety systems.

Requirements:

• 6+ years in product management or related roles with expertise in AI safety.
• Background in cybersecurity.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
