Product Manager, Codex

This role is based in San Francisco, CA with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offers relocation assistance.

Compensation:

$255K – $325K + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

• Shape product strategy for Codex, from early concepts through launch and iteration.
• Collaborate with engineering and research to translate breakthroughs into usable, high-value developer experiences.
• Deeply understand developer workflows and identify opportunities where AI can enhance them.
• Navigate ambiguity and make thoughtful trade-offs in 0–1 product environments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver quickly while maintaining high technical quality.

Requirements:

• Strong technical background with recent experience in shipping code to production.
• Deep intuition for developer workflows and a passion for building productive coding tools.
• Experience in defining product direction in ambiguous environments.
• Strong product intuition with prioritization and sequencing skills.
• Experience driving execution across engineering, design, and research.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability from startup or high-growth environments.
