Engineering Manager, Distillation & Dectection Platform

$293K – $385K + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of software engineers building detection and mitigation systems for frontier model misuse.
• Set the technical roadmap and execution strategy.
• Build production systems that scale with frontier model usage.
• Partner with Research and Product teams to translate model capabilities into deployable tests and mitigations.
• Drive strong engineering fundamentals in architecture, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Hire and grow an exceptional team across various engineering domains.

Requirements:

• Significant experience leading engineering teams and delivering production systems.
• Strong technical judgment in system design and operational reliability.
• Experience in adversarial environments and security-related fields.
