Data Scientist - User Risk Measurement

This role is remote in the US.

Compensation:

$255K – $325K + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

  • Define the measurement framework for user-level risk across products.
  • Establish baselines and statistical confidence for core metrics.
  • Build decision-ready reporting surfaces and dashboards.
  • Clean and organize data from various sources.
  • Create attribution and change-tracking for user behavior.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent analytics standards.
  • Monitor signals for emerging risks and recommend priorities.
  • Communicate insights clearly to executives and engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • 3–6+ years in data science or risk analytics.
  • Strong skills in sampling, inference, and probability theory.
  • Proficient in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with ETL pipelines and data warehouses is a plus.
