This role is based in Seattle, with a hybrid work model emphasizing in-person collaboration.

Compensation:

$293K - $325K/year

Responsibilities:

  • Drive statistical direction and technical strategy for the experimentation platform.
  • Design and improve methodologies for product and research teams.
  • Build solutions to real-world experimentation challenges.
  • Improve reliability and trustworthiness of experiment results.
  • Develop analytical systems and pipelines in Python.
  • Partner with engineers and product teams to enhance experiment design.
  • Lead investigations into experimentation anomalies.
  • Establish best practices for experimentation governance.
  • Mentor other data scientists.

Requirements:

  • Experience with experimentation platforms at large tech companies.
  • Deep expertise in statistics and causal inference.
  • Strong coding skills in Python and data processing frameworks like Spark.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Experience in large-scale product and ML experimentation.
