This role is based in San Francisco, CA.
Compensation:
$230K – $385K + Offers Equity
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and manage data pipelines for user event data integration.
- Develop datasets to track product metrics like user growth and engagement.
- Collaborate with teams to understand data needs and provide solutions.
- Implement robust systems for data ingestion and processing.
- Participate in data architecture decisions.
- Ensure data security and compliance.
Requirements:
- 3+ years as a data engineer and 8+ years in software engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with Hadoop, Flink, and distributed storage systems.
- Expertise with ETL schedulers like Airflow or similar.
- Solid understanding of Spark.
