Android Engineer, ChatGPT Mobile Infrastructure

This role is based in San Francisco, New York City, or Seattle, with potential remote options.

Compensation:

$185K – $385K + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

• Build and evolve core Kotlin frameworks used across multiple apps.
• Enhance app performance through profiling and architectural improvements.
• Increase reliability by reducing crashes and improving error handling.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to identify infrastructure needs.
• Develop internal tooling and automation to accelerate engineering velocity.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Android development (Kotlin, modern architecture patterns, Jetpack).
• Ability to drive projects to completion and adapt quickly.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
