Analytics Data Engineer

This role is based in San Francisco, with relocation assistance offered.

Compensation:

$255K – $405K + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and manage data pipelines for user event data integration.
• Develop datasets to track product metrics such as user growth and engagement.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand data needs.
• Implement robust systems for data ingestion and processing.
• Participate in data architecture and engineering decisions.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a data engineer and 8+ years in software engineering.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with distributed processing technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Flink).
• Expertise in ETL schedulers (e.g., Airflow, Dagster).
• Solid understanding of Spark.
