Software Engineering Intern, Robotics Simulation - Summer 2026

This internship is based in Toronto, Canada.
Compensation:
20 CAD - 63 CAD per hour
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with simulation engineers and robotics researchers to design and improve simulation tools.
- Develop tools for configuring, simulating, and testing various types of robots.
- Simulate physical sensors and generate synthetic data for training.
- Enhance physics simulation to minimize the gap between simulation and real-world performance.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Math, or a related field.
- Proficient in C++ and Python, with experience in version control systems like Git.
- Strong mathematical skills, including linear algebra and calculus.
- Familiarity with ROS2 workflows and robotics simulation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Isaac Sim, Omniverse, and game/physics engine development.
- Background in data-parallel computing (CUDA, OpenCL).
