Software Engineering Intern, Neural Rendering - 2026

This role is based in Munich, Germany.
What you'll be doing:
- Design and implement novel algorithms that enhance the real-to-sim quality.
- Optimize the reconstruction training and rendering runtime.
- Contribute to a large codebase using Python and CUDA.
- Collaborate closely with experienced engineering and research team members.
- Contribute to NVIDIA NuRec and other core NVIDIA products.
- Publish and present results in conferences and articles.
What we need to see:
- Pursuing MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related area.
- Hands-on technical knowledge on Neural Reconstruction and Generative Models.
- Experience with Python and Pytorch, as well as CUDA/Slang.
- Strong experience in robotic systems.
- Good software engineering fundamentals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Strong coding architecture skills.
- Experience with performance analysis for GPU-accelerated workloads.
- Experience with advanced CUDA development.
- History of multi-disciplinary creativity and innovation.
