Senior System Software Engineer - Infrastructure

This role is based in Santa Clara, CA, Seattle, WA, or available for remote work.

Compensation:

224,000 USD - 356,500 USD per year

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using EKS, EC2, S3.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for high availability and performance.
• Create and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automation.
• Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates with Terraform.
• Monitor system performance and implement logging and alerting.
• Implement DevSecOps best practices in the CI/CD lifecycle.
• Support platform observability and enhance self-service for developer teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve developer productivity.

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience building/supporting complex services.
• Strong experience with AWS services and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD and scripting languages.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
