Senior System Software Engineer, Automotive Performance

This role is based in India, with locations in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

What you'll be doing:

  • Optimize system software for NVIDIA automotive performance platforms with Safe RTOS.
  • Collaborate with Hardware Architecture, DriveOS, Power, and Test teams to track key performance benchmarks.
  • Develop innovative features in automotive profiling tools with AI assistance.
  • Benchmark the hypervisor and ensure low overhead on ARM systems.
  • Work with the ADAS/AV team to optimize the next-gen stack on Tegra platforms.

What we need to see:

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years in systems or software performance.
  • Solid C/C++ programming skills and automotive sector experience.
  • Proficiency in Linux and QNX; Android knowledge is a plus.
  • Understanding of benchmarking, boot time optimization, and runtime performance improvements.
  • Experience with hypervisors and virtualization.
  • AI/ML experience is highly desirable.
