Senior Storage Infrastructure Software Engineer

This role is based in multiple locations including Santa Clara, CA, Austin, TX, and offers remote options.

Compensation:

Base salary range is $184,000 - $356,500/year based on experience and level.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with HW and SW engineering teams to define new features for distributed software storage systems.
• Develop scalable, distributed storage management solutions using Perl and Python.
• Optimize workflow efficiency and scalability with internal customers.
• Improve software design and testing processes for high production quality.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Linux software development and storage systems.
• Strong understanding of storage concepts like volumes, snapshots, and deduplication.
• Experience with Perl and Python development.
• MS or BS in Computer Science or related field preferred.
