Senior Software Architect, Observability Platform

This role is based in Santa Clara, CA, with additional locations in Westford, Austin, and remote options available.

Compensation:

Base salary range is $184,000 - $356,500 per year depending on level and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HW and SW engineering teams to deliver observability solutions.
  • Develop, test, and deploy data collectors, pipelines, and visualization services.
  • Define data collection and retention policies.
  • Provide operational data to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Continuously enhance quality and processes through observability.

Requirements:

  • Experience in large scale, distributed observability systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with data scientists and engineers.
  • Experience with observability platforms like Apache Spark, Elastic/Open Search, Grafana, and Prometheus.
  • Proficient in Python and API usage.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
