Quantum Research Scientist Intern - Fall 2026

This role is remote, based in the US, CA.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for interns is $20 - $71.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop agentic AI systems for quantum computing applications.
  • Prototype a high-performance agentic pipeline for quantum EDA of superconducting qubits.
  • Collect and organize data to support digital twin development.
  • Accelerate and deploy quantum calibration primitives.
  • Combine electromagnetic and quantum simulations to extract relevant parameters.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Master's or PhD in Physics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and a strong background in quantum computing fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with standard design software.
  • Exposure to electromagnetic simulation tools.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Ways to Stand Out:

  • Hands-on experience with quantum hardware systems.
  • Experience building agentic or LLM-driven workflows.
  • GPU-accelerated simulation experience with NVIDIA quantum software.
  • Familiarity with classical machine learning methods.
  • A track record of publications in quantum computing venues.
