Principal Deep Learning Engineer – Perception, Autonomous Driving

Compensation:

$272,000 - $431,250/year

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy state-of-the-art deep learning architectures for 3D obstacle detection and semantic segmentation.
  • Drive the productization of perception models ensuring high safety and quality standards.
  • Lead development processes to identify and solve complex corner cases in driving environments.
  • Define data quality strategies and work closely with data operations.
  • Mentor senior engineers and influence cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. or MS in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in deep learning for computer vision.
  • Proven track record in shipping high-quality deep learning software.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++, with experience in PyTorch.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the autonomous driving or robotics industry.
  • Familiarity with model optimization and deployment on embedded platforms.
  • First-author publications in top-tier conferences.
