Engineering Manager, Observability Platform

This role is based in Santa Clara, CA.

Compensation:

$224,000 - $356,500/year

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers to design and build core services for the observability platform.
• Define architecture for distributed ingestion services and time-series storage.
• Partner with teams to define data models and integration standards.
• Strengthen engineering practices through tooling and documentation.
• Help engineers solve distributed-systems challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years in building distributed systems, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience with observability stacks like Prometheus, Loki, or OpenTelemetry.
• Strong foundations in distributed systems concepts.
• Ability to read and review Go or Python code.
