Director, Platform Quality Engineering

This role is based in Santa Clara, CA.

Compensation:

$320,000 - $488,750/year

Responsibilities:

• Define the platform organization's overall quality strategy.
• Drive adoption of standards for quality engineering, including test automation and performance testing.
• Establish clear quality metrics to monitor platform health.
• Lead design and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed quality principles early in the development lifecycle.
• Implement strategies for AI-assisted testing.
• Align quality goals with business objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 15+ years of experience with 6+ years in managing quality engineering teams.
• Experience in improving system reliability for large-scale platforms.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
