Director, Engineering - Power and Performance Software

This role is based in multiple locations including Santa Clara, Austin, Hillsboro, Durham, and Redmond.

Compensation:

Base salary range is 308,000 USD - 471,500 USD for Level 5, and 368,000 USD - 557,750 USD for Level 6.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of system software engineers to deliver power-efficient solutions for NVIDIA’s Tegra platforms.
• Define and drive the software roadmap focused on power and performance across multiple application domains.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align software strategy with business objectives.
• Influence product direction and architecture to meet performance and efficiency goals.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in the software industry with a track record of delivering production-quality software solutions.
• 8+ years of leadership experience, including managing senior technical teams.
• Deep knowledge of CPU and SoC architecture with hands-on experience in performance tuning.
• Expertise in optimizing full-stack software to meet power and performance targets.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
