Data Engineer, Financial Transactions and Automation

This role is based in Santa Clara, CA, Austin, TX, or remote.

Compensation:

$148,000 - $235,750/year

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain event-driven pipelines (Kafka) and implement data models for transactional integrity.
• Perform data analysis to validate financial accuracy and build dashboards for system health.
• Collaborate with the team to translate business requirements into scalable code and debug operational issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years in data engineering or software development.
• Proficiency in building REST APIs and data pipelines using Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS, along with strong SQL skills.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, Linux, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
